Princess and the Pinot is about helping you to find and enjoy wines that suit your palate and your pocket. We aim to cut through the fuss and snobbery which can exist around wine by providing tasting notes and buying tips. You can’t buy wine from this site but we tell you where you can buy wines that are great value for money. The wine world is amazingly abundant and exciting. Our aim is to give you the confidence to explore new wines as well as enjoy old favourites.

Building on our success

Princess and the Pinot is the brainchild of Soma Jennings, who has been studying wine with the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) since 2012, and is currently studying the WSET Diploma.

In our first year we hosted over 30 pop-up wine bars across four venues, as well as hosting charity events, corporate events, and private tastings. Soma has even guest-presented at local wine clubs and private parties.
In our second year we launched HYO Wine Club, to help people across the UK to get more out of their wine experiences. Our aim is to link companies who make good wine with people who want to drink it. We can help you drink better wine, and not necessarily at higher prices.
